ELECTRIC CARS IN INDIA

  Battery Electric Vehicles. (BEVs)

With silent driving and supreme smoothness, the BEV’s driving experience simply cannot be matched by any types of gasoline cars or PHEVs when it comes to comfort and smoothness.

Compared to a petrol (or diesel) fuel-based engine, battery electric vehicles have 99%  fewer moving parts that need maintenance. Even brake pads last longer than other gas-powered cars because of the regenerative braking system.

Advantages of BEVs :-

Compare to other types of cars, Battery electric vehicle creates very little noise. BEVs are silent cars.

In a normal gasoline engine, you have to change the gears if you want to increase the speed. But in BEV, if you want to increase the speed you only have to change the modes. The speed modes of the BEV cars work just like the gears of a normal gasoline car. BEVs have more power than normal gasoline cars. Also, BEVs don’t have a clutch. Instead uses of the rechargeable batteries, BEVs don’t burn fossil fuels. BEVs are fully environmentally friendly cars.

We can charge BEVs at home overnight to provide enough range for average journeys. for long journeys, you have to charge your car at a charging station in the middle of your journeys.  Nowadays, a regenerative braking system can help you to achieve more mileage.  In a regenerative braking system, the tyres of the car give the power to charge your battery pack, so in the regenerative braking system, whenever you drive your car, your car can be automatically recharged.

The typical time to charge an electric car is 1 hour to 10 hours. At the fast-charging station, the car can be fully charged in just 1 hour. Whenever you charge a car at home, it can take up to 10 hours. It all depends on the watts and speed of the charging station and the size of the battery.
